Dave Leitzel
I have only pastored one congregation in my life - that's the Hamilton Wesleyan Church. I first came to Hamilton in 1983 and it's been a wonderful experience. We've had some wonderful successes and some bitter disappointments. We've had our share of failures, but in and through it all God has been grateful and we've grown together.
My responsibilities in the church fall mainly in the areas of teaching and preaching ministers. My wife (Carol) and I head up the youth ministry together with the help of some faithful volunteers. In addition to my job here, I also work as an Instruction Designer for Indiana Wesleyan University. It makes for a busy week.
We have four children:
Andrea Carpenter is a school teacher and lives in
Altus, Ok where her husband Brent is an instructor for C-17 heavy lift
aircraft for the Air Force.
Sara Leitzel lives in Indianapolis and is completing
her work on a cosmetology degree.
Andrew Leitzel lives in Wabash, Indiana and works for
the Bowen Center.
Alisha Leitzel, in Fall of 2008, is heading for her
first semester at Indiana Wesleyan University.
