In February (no date yet) the FLOCKS ministry (small groups) will take several sessions to view and discuss the modern adaptation of John Bunyan's classic Pilgrim's Progress. This story is the #1 Christian fantasy of all time. Considered a masterpiece, the original book is the most read book of all time other than the Bible. The story follows Christian and his companions as they journey from the City of Destruction to the heavenly city. Along the way they face obstacles and enemies, large and small, man-made and demon spawned. The allegory teaches us about the Christian life and journey. If you've never taken part in a small group before, this may be the time to take the plunge. Watch for announcements regarding start date and location. |
